When I Grow Up.. | Blog-tember Challenge

When I was little I wanted to be everything under the moon.. police officer, teacher, jockey (I've only ever ridden a PONY) everything! Some of the things I thought I would give a try..

I wished I could be a Marine Biologist when I was younger.. clearly by my jazz hand and forced smile you could tell how much I LOVED the water?

I also thought I wanted to be a model.. I mean look at that fashion.. Too bad I'm only 5'2.

and prolly the closest I will get to my wishes when I was younger was being a professional cheerleader. Even though I am NOT one, I still am a cheerleading coach at a college.. same thing ;o)

Things That Make Me Happiest | Blog- tember Challenge

I like to think I am a simple person. When I see something I really like I buy it. When something makes me happy I do it. I am a impulse person, and like to do things spur of the moment I try to see the best in people, I like to laugh and I smile- A LOT. Some of the things that make the happiest though.. that's kinda tough. But I made a list of 10 things that make me the happiest. 

1.  Saturday mornings with nothing to do.

2. When things or events go as planned.

3. A night in complete with wine and home cooked meal & desert.

4. Best Friends that I can call any day or time.

5. Long weekends spent with Joe.

6. Cozy sweaters.

7. My parents house

8. An iced coconut coffee or a hot pumpkin spice latte.

9. Volunteering my time and seeing faces of those I've helped. 

10. Love. From seeing a newly married couple to a couple married 50 years. True love is the best feeling in the world and when someone finds it, they know.

Happy Labor Day!

This whole month I will be participating in the Blog- tember challenge along with many other of my blog friends! Each day I will talk about a topic off of the scheduled prompt! When To Purchase

You always want to get the best deals.. that's only natural. So if you are like me, before you make a big purchase I tend to scope the internet and check out sale flyers. Today, with a little help of lists I found here and there, I'm compiling a list of when is the best time buy and check those larger purchases off your list!

Hope this list helps some of you.. and hey! maybe you can even start to think about the dreadful christmas gift buying based on it!

Easy Peanut Butter Pretzel Snack

A few friends of mine decided last minute to attend a Phillies game on Saturday. This was before we knew it was going to rain on and off all day. No worries though.. we huddled under the tailgate of my SUV and the rain decided to stop for the actual game! I needed to come up with an easy snack to bring to the tailgate with not a lot of time to head to the store and buy goodies.  Using all ingredients I had in my pantry I created this amazing little snacks. One of my favorite candies are pretzel M&M's, and these taste much like them!

Ingredients:

Pretzels (I used square lattice)

Chocolate Hershey Kisses

Peanut Butter

Milk 

Directions:

Start by spreading peanut butter on however many bites you want to make.  Add another pretzel making it a 'sandwich'. Melt Hershey kisses on pot over stove. Continue to stir so chocolate doesn't stick to pan, once they start to melt add in splash of milk to thin out chocolate. Keep stiring until liquidy.  Add milk as needed to help stretch the chocolate for your bites.  Once completely melted keep stove on low heat. Carefully dip pretzel sandwiches into pot. Place on parchment paper.  Place in refrigerator until chocolate becomes solid on pretzel.  Serve and enjoy!

High Five for Friday Update!

Hi Friends! As you have prolly noticed I've been a little MIA lately. Well let me give you an update on life and what seems like three weeks.. but has really only been ONE WEEK!

1. I put the finishing touches on a friends Bridal Shower invites.  These came out great and match the brides colors perfectly! You can order your own here 

2. I got to go to the Luke Bryan concert Friday night at the Linc.  Besides some drunk idiot getting SICK in our seats making us miss parts of the concert to move to differenet ones.. Luke was amazing! It was a bit chilly so I pulled out a new sweater for the Fall (sweater Forever21)

3. Joe and I attended one of his good friends from high school's wedding this weekend. We had some fun in the photobooth that the brides dad created. The bride was absolutly gorgeous too 

4.  Aren't these groomsman cards so rustic looking. I made these for a client to ask his best guys to stand by his side!

5. And lastly the reason i have been so busy this week is because it's preseason at Moravian! Hello fresh season and new skills! I'm sooo proud of how much they accomplished already and how amazing this team looks! (my dress: JCrewFactory)

  Oh yeah and this also happened.. Brrr
