Farmhouse Winter Home Decor from Amazon

The holiday is come and gone! I love the house decorated for Christmas. The extra twinkle and color makes me happy, but at the same time, I can't wait to get it back to 'normal'.

Do you decorated for winter? I like to leave up some of the greenery in the house but take down the reds, plaids etc.
Today I rounded up some farmhouse inspired winter decor from none other then the best site for finding everything.. Amazon

Flocked Wreath
Winter Farm Picture
Blanket
Pillow Cover
Towels

I like to go back to my neutrals after the holiday's but still have that warm and fuzzy feeling. I just love this picture from Lisa Russo! I am going to purchase it and replace a picture we already have hanging in the living room. Also that flocked wreath.. give me all the heart eyes!!

Here are our annual Christmas Photos!!

I can't stand the cuteness

Our Home | Kitchen and Sunroom Christmas Tour

Twas the Eve of Christmas Eve and all through the house, the only christmas cookies left were that for a mouse!!
Do you like that little rhyme I came up with?? Well it's the truth! I baked last weekend but didn't want all the sweets left in the house. So I made little goodie bags of cookies to give to our neighbors and friends and brought the rest to a work christmas party. I did leave some for Santa for christmas eve, but I think Mr. Claus aka my husband; already ate them all.
Today I'm bringing you on a home tour of our kitchen and sunroom decorated for christmas. Like in the living room and bedroom I didn't go too over board with the decorations this year. Let me know what you think!

Review: Aquis Hair Towel

I received this complementary product from Influenster but all opinions are my own!

Do you have thick hair that you HATE drying? This girl is raising her hand very high right now! I have naturally curly, thick hair. I will usually rock the braid, high messy bun or low pony daily because let's face it.. who has time to sit there and dry your hair then style it. Not me! I'm busy working full time, doing my side hustles and oh yeah raising an eight month old! It takes me at least 30 minutes to dry my hair completely. and if that drying is a blow out, I will still have to go over it with a straightener.

But ladies, this Aquis towel cuts down that time in at least half. Mornings I go into the office, I will typically get up and jump right in the shower. As soon as I'm done I quickly get dressed, comb out my hair and hurry to get Joey ready for my mom's and us out the door. One little thing missing is finding the time to dry my hair. Now, I will comb out my hair and wrap it back up in my Aquis towel while I feed and change Joey and finish getting ready for the day. This towel is a life saver! I no longer have to worry about sopping wet hair when I go into the office.

Hurry and get yours today!

Our Home | Christmas Living Room Tour

I love decorating for Christmas. The twinkly lights.. the decor you only see once a year.. the use of the color RED! Strange I know, but if you've been around these parts of the blog before then you know our home is very neutrals and the most 'out there' we get is blue and turquoises!
Today I'm taking you on a little tour of our living room all dressed up for Christmas. I tried to link all the items, but if there is something I missed just message me and I'll be happy to let you know where we found it!
Let's start with our 'catch all' table. This table usually is cluttered with phones, keys, sunglasses, mail.. you know the usual! But thankfully it has those two nifty drawers we can just throw everything in when people come over!
Table | Walmart
Shutter | Vintage
Candle Holders | Target
Snow Globe | Target (old)
Truck | Target (old)
Treats Jar | Home Good
Frame | Michael's
Postcard in Frame | Vintage

I already filled Joe, Charger and Joey's stockings up with some stocking stuffers.. as you can see why mine is hanging limp (insert sad face!)

Garland | Hobby Lobby
Stockings | Pottery Barn
Stuff Polar Bear | Cuddle & Kind
Rocking Chair | DIY
Accent Pillow | Domaci
Gallery Wall | DIY

See that wrapping paper. Totally didn't put it there as a design element (maybe or maybe not forgot to move it after wrapping the last of the gifts!!!!) but I kinda think it goes.. ya know!

One of my favorite decorations to put out each year is our Christmas cards from each year. We started sending Christmas (photo) cards to family and friends together four years ago. It's so cool to see how much we've changed and grown.

Poinsettia's | Pier 1 (similar)

I think it's funny when I look at this photo because as I was just finishing up taking them, the Fedex man delivered this pillow! Score!!!

DIY Hot Cocoa Bar + Printable Tags

I don't know what it's like where you live, but here in PA it is freaking cold!!!!! The snow we got this past weekend is pretty much all gone and they are calling for more today and the wind chill this week was in the low teen's. Oh Spring, where you at!! Maybe I have high hopes, but I just don't do well in the cold weather. Chapped lips.. extra layers, no thank you!

One thing that is perfect though, in this cold temperature; is my hot cocoa bar I set up on my kitchen table. I love having it out so easy grabs when I want a hot cup at night while catching up with some television shows once Joey goes to bed.

I like simple. I'm not into all the fixings as some other bloggers may be. In my cup I prefer marshmallows and some peppermint chips. But there are so many extras you can add into your cup of cocoa if you want!
Tray | Target (old)

I wanted to share with you some other ideas for a hot cocoa bar if you are looking to make one for the kiddos (or yourself) during the holidays!
