Valentines Treats >> Hearts Rice Krispy Pops

I like taking basic recipes and jazzing them up a little bit! I was asked to make something for a bake sale, so of course I thought it had to be something with Valentine's Day! Something that is easy (and my favorite treat!) is rice krispy treats.  I put a little spin on them and cut them into heart shapes and put them on a cake pop holder! I present to you Rice Krispy Valentine Pops!

Ingredients

10oz Bag of Marshmallows
6 Cups of Rice Krispy cereal
3 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
Sprinkles- Optional

Directions:

Melt butter or margarine in large sauce pan until completely melted.  Add in marshmallows and keep mixing until liquid.

Mix in rice krispy cereal until completely coated.  In a 13x9x2" pan (coat with cooking spray) firmly press mixture.  To make it easier use a buttered spatula or wax paper.  Let cool over night.  Using a heart shaped cookie cutter firmly press out shape. With a knife, cut around cookie cutter to get any excess off.  Place stick through center of heart at the point. Add sprinkles and/or chocolate drizzle!

Enjoy!
