The Guys Behind The Blog | June Link Up

I am thankful to have spent a whole long week with my boy on vacation. To be honest this was our first whole week vacation together. Yes, we have gone on numerous long weekend trips, and even spent 5 days in San Diego last Christmas together, but this trip was different. We had no cell phone reception, no text, no emails to answer NO social media. It was kinda nice being away from the rest of the world and reality. But man did I miss my iPhone! 

Today is my monthly link up with Betsy & Laura Jean called Guys Behind the Blog. If you are new to these parts of town, once a month a bunch of us get together and interview our boyfriends, fiance's, or husbands. The answers are always a fun time to read! So here's Joe..

me: What’s the best vacation you’ve ever been on? 

Joe: San Diego with you of course!

me: If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? 

Joe: I would love to go to some 5 star resort that's somewhere on a Pacific Island. Also a place where the rooms are in the water.

me:  Are there any summer traditions that you have or would like to start? (think things like big picnics, summer activities, bonfires, or day trips!) 

Joe: I love being down the shore at my dad's house in the Summer. We always have a party Memorial Day weekend, but I would like to start a tradition of parties Fourth of July and Labor Day also.

me: The 4th of July is coming up…what’s a must-have picnic or BBQ food for you? 

Joe: Good, sensible beer is a must have item for any type of party you are having.

me: Think about your ideal vacation…are you in a cozy cabin, camping in a tent, or hanging in a hotel? 

Joe: Definitely hanging in a hotel ocean front.. maybe actually hanging on a hammock!
