Our Home | Sneak Peak of Decorations

Can you believe that Christmas is here already!! This year has flown by. Every month (or day really) has been something new with Joey so that just adds to the excitement of the holidays approaching. We decorated our house starting the day after Thanksgiving, but this year took a little extra long to finish. Even though I'm home three days a week, getting things done with a crawling and roaming 8 month old is quite difficult!

Today I'm giving you a look into our home decorated for Christmas! Some of the rooms I will show you more in depth in the next few days, but couldn't wait to share some snap shots with you!

Joey's Room:

In Joey's nursery, we wanted to add his own Christmas tree to get it more festive.  I found this cute one at Target and thought it would look perfect in here.

Living Room:

In the living room, the focal point is definitely the Christmas tree. It's not real big, because let's face it, a bigger one would not fit! This year I am thankful we can tuck the tree in this little corner so that the little hands of Mr. Joey doesn't get to it! We have to get a artificial tree, since Joe is allergic to a real one, but I think this little guy looks great once all decorated.

Kitchen:
My favorite decoration in the kitchen is the garland above the window. I wish I could leave it up all year long! It's so inviting and love making my morning coffee with just the twinkly lights in the background.

Outside:
This year I went simple. Less is more.. right?? I decided against putting up our large wreath over the garage, since the holes were closed up with the siding got painted. I added our artifical wreath to the door along with the small potted trees and garland. My vintage sled with wooden ice skates with a few more small pieces. Since our landscaping is different this year, we no longer have those huge trees to put the net lights on. Instead I picked up these real wreaths and added red bows to them on the windows.

So there you have it. A sneak peek into our home. I plan on doing a full tour in the next week. So, make sure to stop back!
