Getting Ready...

I said in a post last week.. The holiday's are EVERYWHERE!!! It's gotten me in the spirit of purchasing decor already! This year, however, will be a little different since I will be in my own apartment.  It is a small area with not much room to decorate let alone a tree.  It just won't be the same without a tree though! So with a little help from Pinterest, I present to you decorations for small spaces!

.Love the idea of a small tree in a tin! Especially since we have no space this Christmas

I think this tree is super cute in what looks to be an old fashioned chips can.  Love the rustic ornaments too!

For small space living, use tree branches in a vase to create a mini-tree for your home!

Another option instead of a tree is Christmas tree limbs! Theses are adorable with small ornaments in hurricane glasses
Use Window Space Simplicity is key for small-space decorating. White pillar candles, placed on a silver tray, add elegance to a windowsill. Two faux dwarf evergreens, wrapped in burlap, add a bit of color to the wintry scene.

Even though my windows aren't big enough to house the pillars on a tray, this would be doable for the kitchen table centerpiece!

Rustic Christmas...in a basket. Put some birch branches in a large basket along with some lighted pine pieces for a softly glowing Christmas look. Add a "Joy" or other sign to the front of the basket for a prim touch.

I am a sucker for anything and everything chalkboard. You add a basket into that along with Christmas decor.. sign me up!!!  I believe this basket was from Target or they have a similar one!

Impromptu Holiday arrangement: green garland, stars, mirror, chest, candles, driftwood. in a small corner: reflects windows, adds space, texture and calm to room.

Not too big of a fan for the mirror with garland, but love the big hurricane glasses with pillar candles and pine cones!
