Salted Carmel Pretzel Brownies

This weekend I had soo much planned, however my head cold/ sinus infection had other plans.  So of course when I'm stuck in the house with nothing to do.. I BAKE!! A friend of mine posted a picture on instagram of pretzel brownies she made.. and boy did they look delicious!!  I quickly skimmed through pintrest and found all sorts of recipes, but decided to go with my own version!
WARNING: This recipe is so simple you may make these every other day!


Brownie mix (boxed)
Pretzels- about 2 cups
Carmel Sauce
Sea Salt

Purchase your favorite boxed brownie mix and follow directions on box!

Pour about 1/3 of batter into pan. I broke pretzels into pieces and placed layer on top of batter.
Pour rest of batter on top of pretzel layer.. (make sure you leave enough batter to cover pretzels)

Bake according to brownie directions.. ps don't mind the filthy oven.. IT'S JOE'S!

Finish by covering baked brownies with carmel sauce and more crushed pretzels.. for added salted taste sprinkle with coarse sea salt.  Let cool before cutting! ENJOY!
