Last week was a whirlwind! It was our first full week in our new house, so every night we tried to do something in it. Whether it was unpack boxes in a certain room, check things off our 'buy' list, or look at furniture together. By week's end we were both so exhausted and needed a break. We decided to go to an event in our town called "Tunes at Twilight" Basically it's a free concert that everyone brings lawn chairs and blankets to listen to it. There is also a beer tent and some munchie foods. Let's be honest.. we go for the beer tent! It was the last one for the season, so we said 'screw the boxes- they can wait' and decided to head over for a night out.

It has been so hot and humid these past few days and I love throwing on something simple and light especially if we are going to be outside. I purchased these shorts a couple weeks ago when they were on sale for only $8.00. I figured even if I wear them one time I would get my money's worth.. well let me tell you, I don't want to take them off! I need (like I don't have enough) to go buy more tops to wear with them! I also purchased them in the khaki color. These look great thrown on top of a bathing suit too! I purchased an XS and they still are loose around the waist and are able to tuck blousey shirts in (like the one below!)
