Happy Friday all! We made it. Here in PA we are gearing up for the first day of school on Monday and trying to do all the things! On top of the usual things and back to school, Fall sports have officially started in the Melch household. Both boys are playing two sports this season again, and honestly I'm just trying to keep my head above water. Both Joey & Vinny are playing baseball in the Fall and Vinny is signed up for soccer academy. Joey wanted to try football this year, and I'm all for letting the kids decide what they want to play. So far, all practices besides soccer has started- which thankfully that is only one hour on Saturday mornings!
Some things from this week..
1. back to school
Are you in back to school mood yet? I'm not gonna lie, I've tried to get the boys into bed early every night this week, but with late practices, dinner, showers.. it's still pretty late bed times for them. Joey is headed to the 2nd grade this year and Vinny is finishing up his PreK 3 and off to last year of PreK at his current school. I made end of year/ back to school gifts for both set of teachers this year. Now like I always say back to school gifts are NOT necessary, but I always like to treat our teachers, and make them feel appreciated!

2. chore chart
Mornings are hard during school. I feel like I'm constantly asking ' did you brush your teeth? did you take your vitamins? did you get out you snacks' I'm hoping a chore cart I made for them will help ease that pain a little more. For us it is just basic chores to start, and eventually I would love to add to this. I simply found a template I liked on Canva and made it targeted towards the chores I wanted my boys to do in the morning!
3. teacher sale
I know I have a lot of followers that are teachers. At Bellisima we put out a new collection this weekend which included a bunch of cute teacher things. Use code teachers30 to receive 30% off your purchase.
4. graduation book
If you have a child in pre school, now is the perfect time to start a graduation book for them. I just handed Vinny's book off to his teachers to sign last week, since he's moving to his new room starting this coming week. I started this for Joey when he was also in preschool, and so far every year, I've had his teachers write a little note for him. Read the full post here
