One of the first rooms I wanted to 'put together' was the playroom. This room is located to the left of the foyer when you first walk into the room, but thankfully the room has doors that can be closed if we have guests or family over!
This was also the first room to get painted. When we moved in, the previous owners used it as a work out room with mirrors on the wall and it was painted a dark blue color. Even though I would have loved to have my own work out room/bonus room, a play room would better suite us right now! We negotiated keeping the TV in the room but everything else is ours. I'm still on the hunt for more art work for either size of the TV or possibly just getting pictures of Joey enlarged or on a canvas for that space.
But for now, this room is done and filled with toys to max capacity!
The only new purchase in this room was the striped rug and the frame with the map art. Everything else came from the old house.
