Five on Friday!

What a busy week! TGIF!! I am so excited for this week because it kicks off our Kenny Chesney concerts. Tomorrow is our first concert of the Summer at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to see him play. The best part about seeing him in Philly is definitely the huge tailgates. This year, we aren't having as many people partake in ours, but I'm sure we will find some people along the way that will join up with us!

So let's get back to this past week and check out some highlights.

one. Last weekend I really didn't have that much planned besides a yard sale that fell through. My friend Brenna was back home from Connecticut, so we decided to go to some local wineries for the day. This was our second stop, Blue Ridge Winery in Saylorsburg, PA.

two. Father's Day was Sunday, and we had my parents and brother over for a cook out. This was a picture I snapped of our 'first course'. I say 'first course' like that because we had way to much food! Not only did we have the salsa's, dips, and stuffed bread pictured, but we also had this delicious copycat shrimp as appetizers. We rounded out our meal with steak, burgers, and hot dogs and lots of sides. We were all too full for dessert, but my mom made angel food cake with fresh fruit! YUM!

four. Monday I attended the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's First Annual Light the Night Fundraiser. One of my senior cheerleaders put the whole event together. It raised a lot of money for the LLS and it was a great night spent with friends and co-workers. My favorite part? NOT the open bar, but the silent auction! I ended up leaving with a wine bucket and a gift certificate for a closet makeover!! It was overall a great night and event!

five. My girl Chrissy's recipe book came in the mail this week!  I can't wait to dive in and hopefully actually make some of the recipes in here! I'll keep you posted on the progress!
