'I'm outdoorsy in that I like getting drunk on patios'
I think that might be one of my favorite quotes or meme's or whatever you would like to call it! I don't do well with nature, especially trying to take care of plants. I have a horrible time remembering to water them and properly care for them. I thought it would be easy with succulents since they don't need that much water.. but that didn't work out well either. They are now over grown and I didn't have the heart to cut them. Until the other day, I decided we need to form a better relationship and start taking better care of them!
Today, I've teamed up with Poise® to bring you a way to #RecycleYourPeriodPad This is a campaign to bring awareness to LBL (light bladder leakage) which can affect women all ages. Most women who have this use their normal period pads.. but not anymore! These are designed to move with your body and not prohibit your daily life. I have not yet experienced this, but know many friends that after having kids saw this all to frequent. To be honest before this campaign, I thought LBL was for older women, and after talking with some friends, this is a serious issue to new mom's also.
So now what to do with all those leftover period pads after you switched to Poise? Well I decided to put mine into good use with my new plants I've inherited! What better way to soak up excuse moisture under your pots then with a unused pads!

Simply cut the pads at the ends. I then didn't want them to show that much so I cut the shape of my planters which were round. I kept the backing on the pad because I didn't want it to stick to my desk, tables, etc.
Women deserve the best options for managing LBL so Poise brand has introduced new Poise Thin-Shape pads, which are up to 40% thinner than original Poise brand pads and are made specifically for bladder leaks with the trusted absorbency of Poise brand.
