Nautical Inspired 60th Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago, I completely surprised my mom by throwing her a 60th birthday party. Me being the sneaky person I am, got her there by sending her an invite for her cousin's birthday party. In my family, it is a tradition to bake lots of cookies for any event. So naturally when she found out about the party she volunteered to make her famous sliced cookies... like I said 'sneaky'. Today I wanted to share some photos of the event. Most of the photos are from the dessert and gift tables because in my family everyone apparently likes to get to parties an hour before it starts!
