I have used the same comforter for my bedding for almost four years now. I purchased it on a steal when I moved back home from college after I graduated and decided to re-do and move into a different bedroom at my parents. It is very classic with yellow pops in the flowers. I have always used pinks as an accent color in my rooms.
It is probably no surprise to you that my favorite color is pink. I have recently tried to shy away from purchasing EVERYTHING in that color.

That's right my room was HOT pink with pink everything, accented in (you guessed it) PINK
I needed to break up with the color pink for a little but it somehow made it's way back. I still use some pink aspects such as pillows and throws but have really been jumping on the yellow and gold band wagon recently. It's great how just adding a few details and brightening up a room can help change the seasons!
