Ingredients: (recipe yields 6- double for 12)
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 2 cups of chopped apples (about 2 apples)
- 1/4 cup sugar (can use smaller amount if you don’t want it as sweet)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 6 slices of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 6 mini graham crumb pie crusts
- 6 carmels
- Skin, Core & Chop Apples into small pieces and add to bowl
- Mix in flour, sugar, lemon, cinnamon and salt with apples
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Add pie filling to each pie crust
- Put one slice of butter and one carmel per pie
- Place in oven for about 15-20 minutes until carmel is fully melted
