Lately my life has been to say the least. HECTIC. I have no one to blame but myself, and honestly wouldn't want it any different. But sometimes you just need to step away and think about the your life.
Recently, an acquaintance of mines husband, went to the doctor for a simple pain (last Wednesday). Without going into much detail, he was diagnosed with a tumor and basically was given a 50/50 chance of making it through the weekend. Lucky, with many prayers, he IS still with us, but was released to be in the comfort of his own home. It honestly makes me think how your life can be changed so quickly in the matter of minutes. I went to Catholic school my whole life and used to go to church every Saturday night. I now use the excuse of being 'too busy' to attend. Why is it that when something happens you always turn back to God and say prayers. What if this is God's way of telling you to be closer to him. So many questions, not enough answers. Events like this make you think, maybe think a little too much. I am the type of person who would never push my beliefs on to someone else- this is just my rant for the day!
Everyone hold your loved ones close. Always believe things happen for a reason, and there WILL be a rainbow after the storm.
