It's Christmas Time In the City...

Well Thanksgiving is officially over and we are in full swing of the Holiday season. I have been so busy lately between work, coaching and wedding things it was nice to be able to get away for a day with my man to go on a special Holiday Tour.
Thanks to the people over at On Location Tours, Joe and I were able to choose from one of their awesome tours. We of course chose the Holiday Lights and Movie Sites option. When I read the movie ELF would be featured on numerous stops I was sold!!

Unfortunately, it was a rainy Saturday in the city (notice the hair-do).. however between the wonderful tour guide, the movie clips on the bus and awesome sites and lights we saw it was totally worth it!

The tour began at the Shops at Columbus Circle where all guests received a special VIP pass to shop! The stars in the lobby were definitely a favorite of ours, because well they made us feel at home in Bethlehem!!

First stop on the tour was Lincoln Center! Thankfully this was right before a show let out, so we could enjoy the fountain and sites!

We drove past 55 Central Park West, which is where Buddy's the Elf's father Walter Hobbs lives!

ABC 7 Studios (Also where Live with Kelly & Michael is filmed)

Everyone on the tour received a sweet treat from the Carolina Cookie Company

We drove through Central Park where you will remember the scene from Elf where Santa crashes and they get chased by the Central Park Rangers.

We then moved on to see some other famous spots like Serendipity (Serendipity), Queensboro Bridge (scene from Elf) & the Plaza Hotel (Eloise's Christmas)

My favorite Christmas windows definitely go to Bloomingdale's this year! Their theme was the 5 senses..
Sound (bells ringing)
Site (Moving Bulldogs)
Taste (Peppermint Mints samples)
Touch (Touch Camera )
Smell (Pine Tree)

Some of my other favorites were the bow of lights on the Cartier store, Barney's New York Ice Sculpture windows, Saks Fifth Ave light display and of course Lord & Taylor's Cupcake windows and the way they decorated their scaffolding!

As there are soo many more photo's I would love to share with you, I've run out of time today!
If you would like to take your own tour head on over to On Location Tours and chose from one of their options in a city near you! And because I want you to experience one of these tours also use code: TAKETWO for 10% off!

I received this tour compliments of On Location Tours, but all opinions are my own!
