On Saturday, we dropped Charger off to get all spiffy looking for his best pals. He always looks cute, but especially when he gets his hair cut. I think he looks older with shorter hair. We was proudly wearing his Birthday bandanna too.
We got him a new bed for his birthday which I think he loves. I put it in the kitchen while I was preparing some food for Sunday, and he laid there the whole time!
The menu for Saturday included a DOG theme.. As if you couldn't see that one coming!

Also on the menu were Mini Wieners, Corn Dogs & Sausage & Peppers & Mac & Cheese. Some of Chargers snacks include peppers and cheese so we knew we had to incorporate that into it!
For Dessert, while Charger and his friends chewed on special made cupcakes from Bone Appetite the humans had some cupcakes and Puppy Chow!
Ingredients:
9 Cups Chex Cereal
1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Directions:
In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips & butter and mix in peanut butter. Measure out cereal in large mixing bowl. Pour the mixture over the cereal and mix thoroughly. You can also add the mixture into a large zip lock bag to mix. Add powder sugar and mix until coated. Let sit until cool and serve!
I wish I had more photo's to share of all our family and friends (including four legged) but it seems being the hostess with the mostess is a full time job and I didn't even know where my camera was half the time!
