Seven Layer Dip

Want a simple dip that has a little bit of everything.. something you can eat while still mingling at a party?
Then try my seven layer "taco" dip.  I use TACO loosely..because there is no meat in this.  You can add a layer of meat, but it's not needed to get the taste of tacos!

Ingredients:

1 package taco seasoning mix (1 ounce)
1 can refined beans (16 ounce)
1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce)
1 container sour cream (16 ounce)
1 jar salsa (16 ounce)
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, Chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 small iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 can sliced black olives, drained (6 ounce)
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1.In a medium bowl, mix taco seasoning and refried beans.  Spread the mixture in a large serving pan
2.Mix the sour cream & cream cheese in a medium bowl.  Spread the mixture onto of first layer.
3.Top layers with salsa, then layer of tomato, green pepper, onion, and lettuce.  Cover with cheddar cheese and garnish with black olives.

I of course forgot to take a picture of the finished product before digging into it!
Enjoy!
